White Non-Woven Geotextiles
Our white non-woven geotextile has a use in a number of situations but essentially it is used for the functions of filtration, separation, protection and drainage. So, it is typically used in soakaways, paved and unpaved roads, car parks, cycleways and footpaths and green roofs, for example.
Our white non-woven geotextile comes into its own when trying to put stone or aggregate directly on to a soft subgrade, often soil. Without the geotextile in place, subsequent load pressure will quite often cause a mixing of the two layers, which causes loss of durability and strength and surface rutting. Using the non-woven geotextile between the two layers separates the two layers. This provides both ground stabilisation and allowing for filtration too.
Our geotextile is needle punched and thermally bonded which gives the fabric improved performance in situ.
With separated granular layers in place providing filtration, non-woven geotextile can also be used in road and rail construction.
They are available in standard roll sizes of 4.5mtr x 100mtr. There is also a Handypack option which is sized 4.5mtr x 10mtr.
There are several grades of non-woven geotextile on offer from us. They come in differing roll sizes depending on the grade you require.
If an orange alert geotextile is required, it is available but only on a special order basis.
